The Harford County School Board Hearing was eventful. Five people spoke up to request the right for school children to march out and protest for 15 minutes to join other students across the nation that were doing the same. The Harford County Council Meeting was Held On Tuesday This was my first meeting. I was surprised by the formality of the meeting. New members were added to the veteran and disability groups. Several people spoke to: Voice concern about the lack of shuttle buses between Aberdeen and the Harford Community College. This was a community discussion on keeping children out of the criminal justice system. I heard countless stories from black and mixed-race moms and dads who told us stories about how their children are targeted for disciplinary actions and moved to the side ( a nice way off putting it) of the system.
