Assault rifles were illegal in the United States from 1994 to 2004. Then the ban was allowed to expire. Then mass shootings went up by 39%.

I can not ignore the numbers.

I believe in the 2nd amendment.

I do not believe you need an assault rifle to defend yourself or to hunt.

Luckily these are banned in Maryland but they should be banned across the country.
